The President's Message

Hello everyone, Most of you know me but to those who don't my name is Glenn Moodie and I am the President of this club, voted in this year. I have previously done this job before some two years ago, I started my career at the age of five with this club, and my extended family has helped to build, run, play and support since 1963. Well this year is like no other we have an abundance of committee members, top Treasurer, canteen staff, bar people, and general support . We have 1st and reserves playing in the Amateur 2nd Division, ladies in the 3rd division and a very healthy Masters side in the South division 1. We have been fortunate enough to just secure 2 coaches for the 1st's and Reserves and one for the Ladies, so things are on the up. We are always on the lookout for new players, social members and support so even if you don't or can't play please feel free to come up the club at Kelly Park for a beer or two!

League Rnd 11, 12
The first team is experiencing some lows at the moment and only the coaches can tell why. The reserves had their first win of the season - well done boys. The girls - after a nice break - came back and had a great win and the Masters continue with their great run - 2 wins.

League Rnd 10
After a couple of weeks bad results The Kwinana boys fought back against a tough but fair Freo Colo Colo clinching victory in the last minutes (4-3). The Reserves finishing the game with only 9 men lost 2-5. The Masters had a demolitioning win over Melville (18-0). Good work boys!

League Rnd 7
This weekend Kelly Park remained quiet. The first team lost against a swift Floreat same as the reserves. The Ladies lost for the first time this season. The Masters drew against Forrestfield away.

League Rnd 6
The Kwinana Boys and Girls have celebrated another great weekend for the Club. The Kwinana Masters trashed Perth Hills 8 goals to 1, The Ladies demolished Kingsway 11 goals to 0 and the first team has cruised past the unsuspecting Kingsway team 6 goals to 0 with ease. The Reserves Boys kept they form and lost against a weak Kingsway side.

League Rnd 4,5
Kwinana has changed it's game in Rnd 4 and 5 winning 2 out of 2 with style. A demolishing 5-0 victory over Calcio and a late come back against Balga secured 6 points. The Reserves still winless with poor performance. The Masters continued their fine form against Lynwood with an impressive 4-1 win and the Ladies are still on the up winning against Balga 2-1. All in all the teams have shown great form recently and hopefully this will continue on for the next round.

Welcome to Season 2008
We are rapidly approaching to a brand new season in a brand new league. We have a huge year in front of us as the Coaches have an aim to win the league and bounce back straight to the First Division. We have a great team and big belief to achieve this goal.

The Club's Committee is very pleased to announce that we have secured 2 top class coaches for the the First and Reserves teams! Feel welcome Scott and Leon as our new coaches for 2008.
